Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Secretarial Assistant to join our Stoke-on-Trent office. In this vital role, you’ll provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to our Partners and Secretarial team, helping to ensure the smooth running of the business.
This is a busy, varied role where accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise are essential. You’ll be confident managing your own workload and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to Partners and Secretaries
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, redirecting or taking messages as appropriate
  • Prepare, type, and collate reports, commentaries, and joint statements
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems to ensure records are accurate and accessible
  • Handle correspondence (emails, letters) and maintain internal databases
  • Manage diaries, arrange appointments, and issue conference/trial dates (in the absence of the Secretary)
  • Support with archiving, scanning, and distribution of reports
  • Assist with general office duties and provide cover when required
