We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Secretary Bookkeeper to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our office organized, efficient, and running smoothly. You’ll handle a mix of administrative and bookkeeping tasks, from maintaining accurate financial records to providing exceptional support to both our staff and customers Record and Categorize Financial Transactions: Accurately document daily financial activities and ensure all entries are properly classified for reporting and budgeting purposes. Process Invoices: Prepare, review, and process incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring timely payments and maintaining up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records. Answer Phones and Greet Customers: Serve as the first point of contact by professionally handling phone calls, messages, and customer inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude. General Office Support: Assist with data entry, and other administrative tasks that keep daily operations on track. Maintain and Organize Files: Create and manage both digital and paper filing systems to ensure all records are accessible, secure, and properly maintained. Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and team members to streamline office procedures, improve efficiency, and support company goals. Experience or Education: Previous experience in an office assistant, bookkeeping, or administrative role or completion of relevant coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration, is highly beneficial. Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members. Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
