Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity Due to internal growth within our Central Infrastructure team in Wellington, we’re looking for a Section Administrator to help keep the team running smoothly and efficiently. This is a rewarding role where your focus will be on providing high‑quality administrative support that enables the team to operate at their best. You’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day activities and creating an organised, efficient working environment. We’re open to both full‑time and part‑time (0.8FTE) arrangements for the right candidate. Overall, you will be responsible for: Providing proactive, end‑to‑end administrative support, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly. Coordinating meetings and calendars, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow‑up actions. Supporting staff through onboarding and offboarding processes, including tracking locations, leave, and timesheets. Supporting project delivery through project administration and financial management tasks; experience with Oracle will be highly regarded. Maintaining systems, documentation, and records, including document editing and formatting, archiving, and organisational charts. Supporting office management activities such as purchasing, PPE tracking, stationery ordering, and mail coordination. A positive attitude and enjoyment of problem‑solving, particularly in times of ambiguity. A proactive, self‑sufficient working style with strong attention to detail. Resilience and adaptability when navigating change or competing priorities. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple, shifting deadlines. You’ll be comfortable working within a Microsoft 365 environment and confident using digital tools for document management and collaboration. You’re open to new and efficient ways of working.
