We’re looking for a Section Engineer to join our Regional Civils team based in Bridgewater Tidal Barrier, Somerset.
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Contract: Permanent, full time

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

As a Section Engineer, you’ll be working within the Regional Civils team, supporting the team working on a collaborative Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency delivering schemes across the Southwest.

Your day to day will include:

• Ensuring construction records are completed including preparation of “as-built” drawings and schedules, ensure recording and testing of workmanship and materials i.e., drainage, concrete, piling and brickwork etc
• Keeping records enabling the progress of work to be reviewed and provide engineering support to technical problems
• Preparing 4 week lookaheads, Plan of the Week, and managing the day to day activities for a given Section of Work
• Preparing RAM’s and work pack to ensure works can be undertaken safely
