Job Description The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is looking for a dynamic and high caliber professional to join our Exhibition and Digital Business Department.   Responsibilities: * Leading a team to manage resources, maintain and execute policies, procedures, plans and systems in all aspect of operational duties for the trade fairs and public fairs in Hong Kong. * To formulate operation strategies and develop strategic and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution of projects. * To prepare budget forecast / scenario analysis, coordinate with cross-functional teams to exercise budgetary control and prepare financial reports. * To conduct research, observe industry trends, provide strategic insights and identify new development opportunities. * To participate in the development and enhancement of the related IT System.  * To oversee full spectrum of event services including appointment and supervision of service vendors, cooperation with venue operators, liaising with the stakeholders. * To implement ad-hoc compliance measures in relation to new policies and regulations.   Requirements: * A university degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting.  * A minimum of 8 years’ solid managerial experience in marketing / business development. Experience in the exhibition industry a definite advantage. * Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua. * Strong problem-solving skills and with proven track record on operational planning and execution. * Strong analytical and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks with tight timelines. * Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with strong leadership and team management skills.    
Responsibilities
This role involves leading a team to manage operational duties for trade and public fairs in Hong Kong, including executing policies and developing operational strategies. Responsibilities also cover budget management, financial reporting, conducting research for strategic insights, and overseeing all event services.
