The Opportunity The Section Manager, Security, is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive security strategy for the Allegro plant. This individual will lead all aspects of physical security, asset protection, and emergency response to ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. The Section Manager will lead a dedicated security team, manage advanced security systems, and drive a culture of security awareness and preparedness throughout the facility. What You Will Do Security Strategy & Operations: Develop and execute a comprehensive site security plan that aligns with Allegro's corporate security standards and addresses local risks. Oversee all day-to-day security operations, including access control, perimeter security, patrol schedules, and monitoring activities. Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation strategies. Develop and manage the annual budget for the security department, including personnel, equipment, and services. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the in-house or contracted security team, ensuring they are well-trained, professional, and effective in their duties. Develop and implement training programs for security personnel on topics such as emergency response, conflict resolution, and use of security technology. Foster a culture of vigilance, integrity, and customer service within the security team. Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the site's Emergency Response Plan and Crisis Management protocols. Serve as a key leader in the site's Emergency Response Team (ERT), coordinating actions during incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or security threats. Plan and conduct regular emergency drills and exercises to ensure site readiness. Physical Security Systems Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and upgrading of all physical security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, intrusion detection alarms, and communication equipment. Stay current with advancements in security technology and recommend improvements to enhance the site's security posture. Investigations & Incident Management: Lead or oversee investigations into all security-related incidents, such as theft, vandalism, or policy violations. Ensure all incidents are properly documented, investigated, and resolved in a timely and professional manner. Prepare detailed incident reports for site leadership and corporate security. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance: Partner closely with Human Resources (Cynch Castro's team), Legal (Sharon Briansky's team), IT, and Facilities to address security-related issues and ensure a holistic approach to site protection. Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards. Develop and deliver security awareness training for all site employees Who You Are Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Professional security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP) are highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience managing security for a large-scale manufacturing or high-tech facility is essential. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a strong plus. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs and emergency response plans. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of physical security principles, risk assessment methodologies, and investigation techniques. Strong technical proficiency with modern security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. Expertise in crisis management and emergency response coordination. Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Strong crisis management and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm, decisive, and effective under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
