Job Title: Section Waiter / Junior Sommelier

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re currently seeking experienced Section Waiters and a Junior Sommelier to join our passionate front-of-house team. These roles are perfect for hospitality professionals who take pride in guest connection, are comfortable under pressure, and are eager to keep growing — whether it’s through managing a busy section or developing wine service skills.

SECTION WAITER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage your own section during busy services with confidence and care
• Deliver polished, intuitive, and personable guest experiences
• Guide guests through the food and beverage menu with clarity and enthusiasm
• Work collaboratively with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, timing, and professionalism
• Build relationships with guests and contribute to Norte’s welcoming culture

JUNIOR SOMMELIER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the wine program under the guidance of the Head Sommelier
• Assist guests with wine selections and confidently discuss food pairings
• Help manage inventory and wine list maintenance
• Participate in regular tastings and internal training sessions
• Share your knowledge with the team to help build wine confidence across the floor
• Be service-focused — when not handling wine, you’re part of the floor team
