Job Description AECOM’s Dams group is seeking a motivated and collaborative Sector Manager, based in either our Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast office. In this key leadership role, you’ll help drive market growth, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued development of our talented team in Southeast Queensland. This key leadership role will give you the opportunity to build networks across AECOM in Australia, New Zealand, and globally, from business operations through to management, while working closely with our leading specialists. How you’ll make a difference Lead the execution and growth of the Dams strategy in Southeast Queensland, driving client engagement, and successful project delivery across the region. Ensure technical and delivery excellence, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, governance, and client satisfaction. Foster collaboration and team growth, mentoring staff, championing digital innovation, and building strong relationships with clients and industry partners. Leverage regional and global expertise to drive innovation, implement best practices, and enhance delivery outcomes. Extensive knowledge and experience in the Australian Dams market and familiarity in working with local government frameworks. A passion for mentoring, leadership & collaboration. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability build relationships and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at varying levels. Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight.
