Description
To offer Water Treatment technical support with the objective of maximizing sales and profit by working with and through a team of technical, sales & Site teams in order to meet the agreed profitability, grow business and offer technical solutions to customers. Support the customer through transition activities, customer need analysis, cost optimization, technical advice, champion innovations, evaluation of the site teams’ technical competencies, presentation and interpretation of data to Leadership team. Responsibilities Conduct trials ensuring expected outcomes are achieved, compile detailed trial reports and gain customer approval of trial results/outcomes through effective presentation of trial findings and the benefits to the customer Lead in the execution of key water treatment value propositions, offerings and innovations Replicate successes achieved across customers and sectors, and develop programs per customer or sector Monitor and improve upon service delivery models Work with country sales teams to deliver the water treatment growth plan Optimization: Develop programs with a systematic approach that will include appropriate product selections, cost in use calculations, investment needs and benefits delivered to the customer Stakeholder management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a sense of loyalty to the business Capacity building: Train, develop and support the local sales team members to increase their knowledge and understanding of water treatment Customer satisfaction: Actively collaborate with supporting functions e.g. Supply Chain, Marketing, technical support teams and the global water treatment community within Diversey etc. to ensure customer needs are met and delivered upon within expected timeframes SKILLS, QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES University degree in either of the following disciplines: Water Engineering, Chemical and process Engineering, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry, Mechanical engineering with Utilities care experience Demonstrable applied experience of minimum 4 years in practical applications of Boiler, cooling systems, pasteurizers, Reverse Osmosis Water treatment solutions. Good understanding of wastewater treatment solutions Good technical and applied knowledge of Boilers, cooling systems, pasteurizers, reverse Osmosis and Process water Treatment in Food production industry Good understanding of Wastewater treatment systems Excellent understanding of Utilities water treatment chemicals and functions(Boilers, cooling towers, Pasteurizers, Reverse Osmosis ) Knowledge in water treatment designs an added advantage Team player Driven by his own initiative and able to work under minimal supervision Excellent report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Good Presentation skill with good written and spoken English Ability to Train on water treatment solutions to Key customers Proactive Good communication skills Assertiveness Ability to function both independently as well as in a team Self-disciplined Motivated Problem solving skills Results orientation Analytical thinking At Solenis, we understand that our greatest asset is our people.
