Description
Resolve complex settlement process challenges which require an in-depth evaluation of basic securities processing procedures and industry standards Execute seamless settlement of securities and derivatives transactions Reconcile settlement positions and resolve discrepancies promptly, liaising with internal departments (e.g., front office, operations, legal, compliance) and external counterparties (e.g., brokers, custodians, clearing houses) Participate in testing and leading an implementation of new systems, processes, and initiatives related to securities settlement Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce risk within the settlement function Provide subject matter expertise and support to junior analysts, assisting with complex issues and training Serve as an analytical and procedural expert, and as first point of escalation for management and internal/external clients Identify control gaps during settlement cycle and implements appropriate solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses Prepare and analyze settlement reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management 5-8 years of relevant experience.
