This is an opportunity to step into a nationally recognized practice handling high-stakes regulatory and enforcement matters with real responsibility from day one. Our AmLaw 100 client is known for its depth in securities enforcement and regulatory litigation, particularly at the intersection of government investigations, compliance, and complex disputes involving public companies and senior executives. The Role • Represent clients in securities enforcement actions and regulatory investigations • Work directly on matters involving the SEC and other regulators • Advise on compliance issues tied to enforcement risk and disclosure obligations • Draft briefs, subpoenas, Wells submissions, and investigative materials • Collaborate with partners and senior associates across offices on sophisticated matters Candidate Profile • JD class years 2018–2022 • Prior experience in securities enforcement, regulatory investigations, or related litigation • Strong writing skills and comfort handling regulator-facing work • Experience from an AmLaw firm, government, or a comparable litigation platform • Bar admission in good standing or eligibility to waive into California Why This Role • Consistent exposure to marquee enforcement and investigations work • Hands-on mentorship from lawyers who regularly lead high-profile matters • A Palo Alto platform that integrates seamlessly with a broader national practice • Compensation range of $260,000 to $420,000, plus performance-based bonus and full benefits • A practice built for lawyers who want to deepen their enforcement expertise rather than rotate endlessly between unrelated disputes Next Steps This search is confidential.
