Description

Join Barclays as a Securitized Products Origination – Structurer, where you will coordinate with internal and external deal teams, rating agencies, investors and accountants to execute term ABS and warehouse lending positions for the firm. Create highly detailed cashflow models, in Excel and Intex, to evaluate and optimize transaction structures. Quantify, evaluate credit risk on lending opportunities as well as prepare, and tie-out structures and documented analytics with accountants. You will also, coordinate with sales force and investor community during deal marketing and review and comment on legal documentation for term ABS and warehouse lending.

To be successful as a Securitized Products Origination – Structurer, you should have experience with:

  • Term ABS or asset-based lending transactions
  • Quantitative/Analytical acumen
  • Firm understanding of bond math
  • Advanced skills in Excel

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Experience across multiple asset classes within ABS and RMBS.
  • Knowledge of Intex and VBA
  • Student Loan ABS experience

Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Development of innovative structured financial products and solutions to address the specific needs of clients, including derivatives, structured notes, and other structured investment products.
  • Risk analysis and management associated with structured products, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
  • Assessment of pricing and valuation of structured products, including the use of mathematical models and financial instruments, and liaising with trading to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Collaboration with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation and risk mitigation.
