REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



    • Post secondary education, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field or equilvent work experience

    • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid security license
    • Minimum of two (2) years of security supervisory experience
    • Valid Class 5 -drivers license with a clean drivers abstract

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    • Proven experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality team members
    • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security systems and technologies is beneficial.
    • Problemp-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Proficiency in microsoft office (excel, word and powerpoint)
    Responsibilities
    • Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site
    • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support
    • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
    • Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
    • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
    • Provide support to the Security team on all HSE matters, including but not limited to investigations of injury/illness, completion of learning from Incidents packages, promoting the safety culture by ensuring it is re-enforced throughout the security organization.
    • The development and implementation of security policies, programs and contingency plans to minimize the security risks within the facility.
    • Hosting security awareness training sessions, investigations for site incidents
    • Responsible for conducting mid-year and end year evaluations for all security team professionals.
    • Provide security related emergency response services and coordinate activities in the event of site wide emergency.
