Site Security Account Manager (Toronto)
Location: North York, ON (near Dufferin & Steeles)

SALARY RANGE: $78,000 TO $81,000

Schedule: Full-Time - Monday through Friday 0800-1630
Allied Universal is hiring a Site Security Account Manager for a high-security pharmaceutical facility in North York. This role requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience directly managing people, with a strong preference for candidates who have led security teams in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or banking environments.

Overview:

  • Oversee all aspects of site security operations
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure contract compliance

We are seeking a reliable, proactive leader with proven experience in high-security or regulated settings.

Site Requirements (Vaccinations) Proof of the following vaccinations:

  • Diphtheria
  • Pertussis
  • Tetanus
  • Influenza

Additional vaccinations may be mandated in the future based on site requirements or changes to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership and supervision to on-site security staff, both guards and supervisors
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with site protocols and pharmaceutical regulations
  • Enforce post orders, emergency procedures, and incident response protocols
  • Conduct random inspections of shifts/posts to ensure staff compliance with duties
  • Interview, screen, and onboard new hires
  • Investigate incidents and complete detailed, accurate reports
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the client and Allied Universal management
  • Lead performance reviews, staff coaching, and corrective actions as needed
  • Manage scheduling, time-off requests, and weekly payroll submission
  • Coordinate coverage for all absences, vacations, and special assignments
  • Facilitate site-specific training and ensure ongoing development of team members
  • Provide after-hours and emergency response support when required
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of management experience in security operations, ideally in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environments
  • High school diploma or GED required (post-secondary education preferred)
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and incident reporting systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments
  • CPR and First Aid Level C Certification (or willingness to obtain - reimbursement provided)
