The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. Come where you will be part of our high-caliber team! SPA has a need for a Security Administrative Specialist supporting GED. Responsibilities The Security Administrative Specialist provides support to the Office of Security and Counterintelligence (OS&CI). The successful candidate will provide support to Government senior managers through collaboration with NRO Program Security Officers to ensure compliance with NRO Directives, IC regulations, and procedures in areas of division and operational administrative security functions. You will support SPO, Directorate, and NRO offices as required to ensure compliance with NRO Directives, IC regulations, and procedures related to security protocols. Qualifications Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required with an active TS/SCI + Polygraph Please discuss specific polygraph requirements with an SPA Talent Acquisition professional Bachelor’s degree in any discipline Minimum of 3 years of Security Experience or 2 years of Security Experience at the NRO Knowledge and ability to implement personnel security policies, practices, and perform adjudicative support and ability to utilize access control software and systems Knowledge and ability to impliment personnel security policies and procedures and work in a compartmented program environment Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and standard computer applications Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of security-specific systems, databases. websites, and software, to include but not limited to: TALON, Scattered Castles, Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer Desired Qualifications: Proactive interest in learning new skills and engaging new challenges Strong customer service skills with interest in proactively anticipating and addressing client needs Familiarity with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC) structure, processes, and procedures Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint for managing data, reports, and collaborative workflows
