Description Location: NAS Oceana, VA Security Clearance Requirement: Top Secret Telework Eligible? No As the Security Administrator, you will join a large program security team supporting our Navy customer at NAS Oceana, VA. Key Responsibilities: Assisting the security team with the oversight of program personnel, information, physical and technical security actions and procedures. Assisting with the creation and routing of documentation/reports as they relate to program requirements (Annual PSQ, SETA, Refreshers, Inspections, etc.). Assisting the CPSO in day-to-day security tasks involving the safeguarding and protection of physical space(s). Interpreting applicable program directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines. Accounting for the control, transmitting, transporting, packaging, and safeguarding of protected material and documents. Assisting with certifying visitor clearances and program accesses to secure spaces. Position may require flexibility in working hours. Must be able to walk up and down staircases (some buildings are not equipped with elevators), pushing open heavy doors, and lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds. This description outlines the general nature and scope of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Formal post-secondary education is desired but not required. At least two 2 years of experience of relevant program security experience is preferred, but not required. Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) highly desired. Equally Important: Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams and with external partners. Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills. Proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently. Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving capabilities. Highly organized, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
