David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company who is looking to recruit a Security Agent with First Aid Training to join their team Bogota, Colombia. Position: Security Agent with First Aid Training Location: Bogota, Colombia Employment type: Full-time Work model: On-site Benefits: Base salary About the role. In this role, you will help ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and company assets through active monitoring, patrols, and the effective use of security technology systems. The position requires strong observation skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to respond efficiently to incidents and emergencies while maintaining high safety and compliance standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor facilities using CCTV and other technological security systems, reporting any incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activity Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, verify access points, and enforce internal security and access control procedures Respond promptly to incidents such as process violations, fire risks, medical emergencies, or safety concerns in accordance with company protocols and legal guidelines Provide first response to medical emergencies, including initial assessment, basic stabilization when applicable, and coordination with external emergency services Support the management of incidents and critical situations, reporting operational updates and safety concerns through established channels Inspect and verify the correct operation of security equipment including CCTV systems, alarms, and access control devices, reporting maintenance or technical issues when identified Ensure the proper use, care, and maintenance of assigned equipment such as communication radios, uniforms, and security tools Prepare daily or weekly reports documenting incidents, unusual activities, and preventive actions to maintain accurate security records and traceability Collaborate with the security team and supervisor to implement security policies, programs, and preventive measures across the operation Participate in ongoing training related to safety procedures, emergency response, regulatory updates, and customer service Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive or company-related information. REQUIREMENTS: Native or fluent in Spanish (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication Completed secondary education (academic baccalaureate or equivalent) Certified training in Surveillance and Private Security from an authorized academy Training in Prehospital Care (PHC) or qualification as a Nursing Assistant from a recognized institution. First aid trained Valid certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum of 2 years' experience in surveillance or private security, preferably in corporate or client-facing environments Experience with access control procedures, CCTV monitoring, and incident response protocols Previous experience in prehospital care, emergency response, nursing assistance, or similar roles is considered an advantage Certification or proven competence in the use of technological security systems such as CCTV, communication radios, and access control devices Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (day and/or night), including weekends and public holidays, ensuring 24/7 operational coverage Willingness to authorize judicial and security background checks in accordance with applicable regulations.
