Responsibilities

Patrols the premises, inside and outside, to observe and report security and safety concerns, including vandalism, thefts, disturbances, and complaints. Reports incidents to the shift supervisor or manager.
Assists guests by answering questions and providing directions and instructions.
Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media.
Escorts and observes guests and team members to ensure their safety and protection; identifies potential safety hazards and report same to the appropriate individual, for proper resolution.
Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons.
Greet guests and employees in a cheerful and welcoming manner.
Participate in industry specific security/safety /active threat training programs.
Understand safety and emergency procedures and how to implement them.
Maintains a working knowledge of the facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests and fellow team members of same, whenever possible.
Maintain compliance with regulatory, internal control, and company policies and procedures.
Must project professionalism, and a consistently friendly demeanor while interacting with internal and external guests.
Observes and monitors guest and employee behaviors
