What you get to do: You will gain experience on the inner workings of Law Enforcement and Security and knowledge, in the Private Sector, and how it relates to Hospitality and Tourism Industry. In this position you will work within a team with a wide variety of experiences, former careers, and current members of varying levels of law enforcement and Security organizations. You will also: Provide guests, employees, and vendors with safe and secure environment Maintain and enforce safety standards Work independently or within in Team providing a consistent message and Security presence Monitor Security checkpoints and posts – inspecting all bags and persons accessing or leaving the property Complete routine patrols of the Park and surrounding properties on foot and in patrol vehicles Respond and provide aid for Emergency situations Complete assigned tasks from management as needed What it takes to succeed: Be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work with large crowds and high-pressure situations Physically active and able to stand and walk for full shifts Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines Proficiency with computer hardware and software Experience in completing Incident Reports Must have a valid driver’s license Audition Release Form: In order to audition for SeaWorld San Antonio, you must sign a release form. Event Performers - Bring our special and seasonal events to life such as Event Host, Culinary Performers and Santa's Helpers. Instrumentalists - Proficient in percussion, brass, woodwinds or guitar. All instrumentalists should have the ability to play varying styles ranging from pop/rock to Motown to gospel and must be able to memorize music for shows and perform with great stage presence. Scare Squad - Enthusiastic performers, who are passionate about Halloween, to add fun and scary excitement to our award-winning Howl-O-Scream events. Vocalists - Great energy and stage presence who can demonstrate technical proficiency in a variety of styles including pop, rock, musical theatre, classical, contemporary, and a cappella vocal styling. Capacity to hear/sing harmonies is a must. Sight reading skills are not required but are preferred. Vocalists perform in multiple high-energy shows per day to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime. How should I prepare for my audition? You will be asked to learn a dance combination and participate in improve and athletic stamina exercises. Costumed character auditions are based primarily on movement, non-verbal communication, and physical coordination. Please arrive early enough to stretch and warm up before the audition begins. Please wear form fitting dance attire that allows a full range of movement and tennis or jazz shoes. Please do not wear jeans.
