Description

Accentuate Staffing is working with a financial services organization that is hiring a Security Analyst. This position plays a vital role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets, supporting critical infrastructure, and contributing to the overall security strategy.
In this role, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in security tools administration, network protection, and incident response. You will work closely with IT and security leadership to monitor, configure, and improve security controls, as well as ensure vulnerabilities are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in information security or network administration, with hands-on experience in endpoint security, firewalls, and SIEM tools.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems

    Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Administer and monitor endpoint security platforms, including application control and cloud-based protection solutions.
  • Manage and configure security infrastructure such as firewalls, VPN access, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM monitoring tools.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and collaborate with system administrators to remediate risks across Windows and Linux environments.
  • Analyze security logs, identify potential threats, and support incident response activities by preparing reports and assisting with investigations.
  • Research emerging vulnerabilities and patches, keeping the security team informed and ensuring updates are applied as needed.
  • Contribute to application security testing plans and provide input on securing new systems and applications.
