Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Technical Experience in Security Incident Response and Forensic Analysis
  • Experience Securing Windows, Linux, and MacOS Endpoints
  • Familiarity with Standards and Frameworks Including HIPAA/HITECH, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Experience with Log Analysis and Familiarity with Various SIEM Tools
  • Strong Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
  • Ability to Analyze Information and Develop Solutions to Complex Security Challenges
  • Experience in Preparing for and Attaining SOC 2 Certification within an Organization
  • Solid Understanding of Secure Software Development Strategies
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS Preferred)
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written and Verba

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and Analyze Security Policies and Procedures Aligned with Industry Best Practices
  • Regularly Audit and Improve Existing Security Processes and Procedures
  • Respond to Customer Requests for Information (RFI) and Security Assessments
  • Evaluate Third-Party Providers to Ensure Their Compliance with Security Policies
  • Conduct Penetration and Risk Assessments of Company Infrastructure
  • Perform Log Reviews, Administrative Access Reviews, and Firewall Configuration Reviews
  • Monitor Network Traffic as an Intrusion Prevention Specialist to Detect Possible Threats
  • Enhance the Security of our Microsoft 365 Environment
  • Conduct Regular Cybersecurity Trainings for our Employees
  • Evaluate and Respond to Threats Identified by our SIEM Tools
  • Monitor Information Security Help Desk Tickets and Respond to Reported Security Incidents
