Security Analyst
Location – This role is eligible to be performed remotely, however, if you reside within 100 miles of Organic Valley offices in WI, you will be expected to collaborate onsite in a hybrid fashion for 4-8 days per month. If you reside outside of 100 miles, you will travel in 4 times/year for intentional collaboration and connection.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Degree in Business or Technology is preferred (associate or bachelor’s)
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT security is preferred.
  • Experience with IDS/IPS preferred.
  • Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Experience with Vulnerability Management.
  • Experience with enterprise authentication systems, such as directory services or identity management platforms.
  • Experience with Incident handling and response preferred.
  • General understanding of security frameworks preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize security requests according to urgency and established criteria.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to have work interrupted multiple times during a day to field urgent security requests and updates.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Must possess a proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Experience working on project teams is preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills.
  • On-call or after-hours business support.
    Base salary wage range: $64,730 - $83,470 per year
    This salary wage range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary wage range and hiring at the maximum of the salary wage range is not typical.
Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring, documenting, and supporting the security posture of CROPP’s information systems. This role involves reviewing alerts, assisting in the maintenance of security configurations, and escalating potential vulnerabilities or incidents to senior team members. The Security Analyst also contributes to the documentation of security events and helps ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents.
  • Field, investigate and respond to requests and questions from all areas of the business related to security.
  • Work collaboratively in the Security Operations Center.
  • Provide continuous monitoring of CROPP’s security controls.
  • Follow and update Incident Response Playbooks.
  • Stay up to date on industry Cyber Security current events.
  • Maintain documentation for security change control.
  • Assist in security projects.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
