SUMMARY

The Security Analyst specialist is a member of GoSecure’s MSD Services team. He provide technical consulting service in network security, such as Firewall technology, Antispam or EDR. Also provides expertise in security operations and technical support to various customers. As part of managed security contracts, the Security Analyst configure managed security device diagnose network issue. The security analyst specialist learns best security practice and implement them in customer environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science 3 years minimum relevant experience in a similar role
  • Certification with Fortinet (NSE4 or higher) or CheckPoint (CCSA or higher)
  • Working for at least 2 years with FortiGate or CheckPoint FW
  • Good working knowledge about network protocol: BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6 · Good working knowledge of Linux, Windows and MacOS, including the user interface for each of these systems, as well as MS Office products.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Bilingual is considered an asset (French / English)
  • Related technical certifications considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Provides technical consulting services to customers on security controls required for upcoming and/or ongoing enterprise systems.
  • Provide level 2 support for manage network security device of our clients.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and other teams to improve GoSecure’s network defense posture.
  • Assist other analysts in responding to customer inquiries by phone or email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Answer ticket that required advance configuration.
  • Participate to the on-call schedule rotation.
  • Other duties as required.
