At VetPartners, we pride ourselves on delivering shared services support that drives success for our veterinary clinics. This role features a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office to promote collaboration, build strong connections, and enhance team engagement.
We are looking for a proactive Security Analyst to safeguard our organisation’s network, systems, and data. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring security incidents, managing security tickets, and working with vendors to mitigate risks. You will also oversee the security of our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solution, ensuring secure and uninterrupted data transmission.
Additionally, you will play a key role in incident response, maintaining security documentation, and delivering security awareness programs to strengthen our organisation’s cybersecurity posture. This position is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in network security, incident response, or cybersecurity operations
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or the Essential Eight
  • Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams
Responsibilities
  • Manage the security of the network and monitor for threats
  • Work with vendors to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Monitor and maintain the Email security infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and protection against threats.
  • Manage security tickets, including triaging and resolving incidents
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of security incidents from detection to resolution
  • Update security policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Run security awareness programs and phishing simulation to educate and empower employees.
  • Proactively oversee and manage The Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution to identify, analyse and mitigate potential threats.
