Description
The Security Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of VigorCare Pediatric Services' information systems and data. This individual will work closely with the IT team and other departments to identify potential security risks, develop and implement security protocols, and monitor and respond to security incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks - Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems - Monitor network traffic and activity to detect and respond to potential security incidents - Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation - Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for security improvements - Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness - Work closely with the IT team to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes - Collaborate with external security teams and vendors to ensure the security of third-party systems and data - Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing - Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents - Communicate security updates and incidents to relevant stakeholders, including management and employees Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Knowledge of security protocols, standards, and best practices - Experience conducting security assessments and implementing security controls - Familiarity with network and system security tools and technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, Security+, etc.) are a plus Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
