JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Security & Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
While prior experience in data cabling and fibre optics is an advantage, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
You’ll be working across commercial and residential sites to install and maintain a range of security and network systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Able to obtain a DBS check and security clearance (essential)
• Proven experience installing and servicing:
• CCTV systems (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, AXIS, Ajax)
• Security/intruder alarms (e.g., Pyronix, Texecom, Ajax)
• Access control (e.g., Paxton, Videx, Dahua)
• Basic understanding of IP networking and configuring hardware
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical plans
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Install and maintain:
• CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
• Intruder alarm systems (wired and wireless)
• Access control systems
• Structured data cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a)
• Rack and cabinet builds, patch panel work
• Fault-finding and diagnostics across all systems
• Complete job records and system handover documentation
• Work independently or as part of a small team
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site cleanliness
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
