ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full-Time Permanent Security & Safety Coordinator.
The Security & Safety Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the safety, security and well-being of all guests, employees, and property at the Four Seasons Whistler Resort & Residences. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day security operations, driving Lead With Care initiatives to promote a positive safety culture while ensuring compliance with local legislation and corporate standards.
Hourly Wage: $26.00 - $28.00

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for the daily business operation of the security office, including clerical, administrative, auditing and filing of paperwork and records.
  • Tending and auditing databases using Word, Excel, Visionline and Keywatcher systems/programs.
  • Issue access cards and key access to new employees, or transferring employees.
  • Handling cash deposits for the department (Contractor parking and meal tickets).
  • Identifying and signing in Contractors/Visitors to the property.
  • Recognizing malfunctions and placing service calls relating to Security equipment and systems.
  • Be a point of contact for the department and maintain open lines of communication with both internal and external parties via phone, voicemail, email or in-person communication.
  • Organize and prioritize work relating to the department and the members of Security staff.
  • The Coordinator will also act as on-call Security at times and will assist in completing all relevant security department tasks or calls for service.
