Make more than a Living, Make a Difference Our Benefits:  * Low-Cost Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * 19 days of Paid Time Off the first year * 11 paid holidays * Retirement savings plan with employer match up to 5% * Flexible spending accounts * Paid short-term and voluntary long-term disability * Group Term Life and AD&D Insurance * Voluntary term life insurance * Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer * PTO Exchange Salary Rate: $60,000 - $68,000 Duties and Responsibilities * The Security & Transportation Supervisor supervises the day-to-day operations of the Safety, Security and Transportation department to provide maximum safety and security for students, staff, center property and the surrounding community. * The Security & Transportation Supervisor evaluate the staff performance and provide staff training and implement departmental personnel changes as approved by the Center Director. * Develop and monitor staff schedules for 24-hour, 7 day a week coverage. * Develop and maintain Center Safety Plan, and Emergency and Disaster Plan (and weather-related Evacuation Plan) and conduct the yearly risk assessment survey. * Establishes and communicates safety, security, and fire prevention policies with pertinent center and DOL regulations to students and staff. * Serves as the center’s representative and maintains effective liaison with law enforcement agencies in the community. * Responsible for monitoring all center facilities to ensure compliance with OSHA Standards.  Qualifications  * Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, police science or related field preferred. * Three to five year’s work-related experience in a supervisory capacity preferred. * Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred. * Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. * Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check. * Knowledge of standard security, fire prevention and safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
