Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Principal Security Architect to define and lead the end-to-end hardware and firmware security strategy for next-generation ARM-based AI server platforms. You will establish a zero-trust foundation at the silicon and board level, ensuring protection of AI models, datasets, and infrastructure across the entire stack. The Team You will work cross-functionally with silicon design, hardware engineering, firmware, and platform software teams, as well as external industry groups and open-source communities. Responsibilities and Duties - Lead design of ARM Confidential Compute Architecture (CCA) and secure enclave environments. - Define hardware Root of Trust (RoT), secure boot, firmware update, and key management architectures. - Design security for high-speed interconnects including PCIe and NVMe encryption. - Conduct system-level threat modeling and implement mitigations against advanced attack vectors. - Guide secure firmware development including UEFI, TF-A, and OpenBMC. - Collaborate across teams and industry bodies to influence security standards and roadmaps. - Design runtime audit frameworks and attestation mechanisms. Candidate Profile Essential: - MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 12+ years experience in hardware or platform security. - Deep expertise in ARM architecture including ARMv9, TrustZone, CCA, and RME. - Experience designing platform security including TPM, RoT, and cryptographic systems. - Strong understanding of firmware, OS, and virtualization security. - Expert knowledge of hardware threat landscape and attack techniques. - Strong leadership and communication skills. Desirable: - Experience securing AI/ML workloads and confidential computing. - Participation in industry standards bodies (TCG, OCP, etc.). - Knowledge of SmartNIC and peripheral security. - Understanding of post-quantum cryptography. - Experience with confidential computing in AI workloads.
