Job Description Key Responsibilities : 1. Guest & Employee Safety Patrol hotel premises, including lobbies, corridors, guest floors, parking areas, and back-of-house zones. Ensure safe movement of guests and staff within the property. Assist guests with directions, emergencies, and safety-related requests. 2. Security Monitoring Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems for suspicious activity. Control access to restricted areas and ensure adherence to hotel security policies. Conduct bag checks and security screening as required. 3. Incident Response & Reporting Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, accidents, medical situations, or disturbances. Document all security incidents accurately in daily logs and incident reports. Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. . Loss Prevention Conduct regular inspection rounds to prevent theft, property damage, and safety hazards. Support investigations related to lost items, guest complaints, or security breaches. 5. Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness Assist in implementing fire safety procedures, including evacuation support during fire drills or real emergencies. Inspect fire safety equipment (extinguishers, alarms, exit signage) to ensure proper function. 6. Policy Enforcement Ensure compliance with hotel policies regarding guest behavior, noise control, and employee conduct. Manage access control for staff lockers, supply rooms, and high-security areas. 7. Customer Service Maintain a polite, approachable, and supportive attitude. Handle guest concerns professionally, ensuring confidentiality and discretion. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is usually required. Additional certifications in security, law enforcement, or first aid are a plus.
