ABOUT THE PROJECT

For our Swedish client, investment company specialize in private equity , we are looking for a Security Automation Engineer with Python.
The team is focused on streamlining and automating security processes, enhancing efficiency through data-driven approaches, and gaining hands-on experience in governance, risk, and compliance . This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across technical teams, contribute to the company’s security strategy, and develop expertise in both technical and business aspects of cybersecurity.
Hybrid – 3 days /week from Warsaw office

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical background with experience in process improvement, automation, or data engineering.
• Min. 5 years + of experience in building or enhanci ng workflows using automation tools and scripting languages like Python.
• An interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn about, and participate in, governance, risk,and compliance processes.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across geographies, time zones, and functions.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and driveinitiatives forward.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to streamline, automate, and enhanceexisting security processes.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows, propose solutions, and implement improvements usingautomation and modern tools.
• Work with data from our tech stack to create visualizations and reports for internal teams andsenior management
• Use tools like Hex.tech to build impactful dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.
• Support the execution of security processes , including vendor security reviews, risk assessments,and other operational tasks, to gain hands-on insight into their structure and effectiveness. Whilethe primary focus is on developing, streamlining, and automating these processes, you will alsocontribute to their day-to-day execution as needed.
