OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and the ability to respond effectively to various situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in security or loss prevention is highly desirable.
  • Certification in first aid is an advantage.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and integrity in all tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if required.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the wellbeing of individuals in need.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any relevant reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary, providing support during investigations or emergencies.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
