    We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Security Officers to work at one of our prestigious University Campus located in an iconic part of London. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff, students, and visitors. This is a fundamental aspect of the role

  • Ensure that the environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation
  • Promote the client positively to all you come in to contact with, throughout the customer journey
  • Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks or challenges
  • Be highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated
  • Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face to face or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful
  • Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and information is paramount
  • Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion
  • Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site
  • All Assignment Instructions are to be reviewed, understood and followed
  • Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard
  • To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager or other Senior Manager, either Unitrust or at the request of the Client.
  • To act with integrity and in the best interests of the company and client in a safe, compliant and ethical manner

SECURITY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome and assist staff, clients, students and visitors to the premises in a warm and courteous fashion maintaining excellence as a standard throughout the customer journey
  • Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
  • Check identity and credentials of staff, contractors and visitors where required
  • Work with all colleagues to ensure the integrity of security on the site
  • Early identification and mitigation of any threats to persons, premises or property, escalating where appropriate to do so
  • Rotation on different posts and shift patterns where required
  • Have an outstanding knowledge of the premises (inside and external) and able to assist staff, clients, students, and visitors with their queries

  • Record details of any suspected criminal activity on the premises (internal and external); commencing investigative procedures prior to onward reporting where necessary.
