ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Security Consultant, you will join a dedicated team focused on enhancing the security of the software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with development teams, helping them improve the security of their code and guiding them in adopting secure development practices. The team is responsible for managing secure coding rulesets used in tools such as Fortify and Nexus Lifecycle. You will assess and advise on security issues, evaluate exception requests, contribute to the development of new or improved security tooling, and help shape secure development standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and evolve secure coding standards and guidelines
• Configure and manage security rulesets for tools like Fortify and Nexus Lifecycle
• Investigate security issues in source code and advise teams on mitigation
• Evaluate exception requests submitted by development teams
• Research and experiment with new security tools and technologies
• Provide coaching and training on secure development practices
• Contribute to community-building initiatives around secure software development
