We are seeking a Security Consultant who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional consulting and interpersonal skills. This role is pivotal in helping clients strengthen their security posture through comprehensive assessments, policy development, and actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will not only possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance but also excel at building relationships, navigating complex engagements, and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Ability to Conduct Risk Assessments and Develop Mitigation Strategies: Expertise in evaluating security risks and creating strategies to mitigate them.
  • Navigate Complex Engagements: Ability to adeptly navigate complex client engagements from a business and technical perspective. Strong problem-solving and active listening skills, asking good questions and a client-first mentality are essential to success in this role.
  • Strong Technical Skills in Cybersecurity: Proficiency in areas such as vulnerability management, incident response, and threat analysis.
  • Framework & regulatory knowledge: NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS; familiarity with programs such as ITAR, DFARS, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience and Education:

  • Technical degree or certificate required.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in information security or security consulting. (Consulting/MSP experience is strongly valued).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security X, CYSA+/CASP or similar are preferred.High proficiency in MS365 Suite & Productivity Tools.
