ABOUT US

We are a professional and trusted security provider with a dedicated 24-hour manned Security Control Room. We are now recruiting reliable and professional Control Room Operators to join our team. This role is central to coordinating security operations and ensuring the safety of people, property, and assets across our client portfolio.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Valid SIA Front Line Licence (SG, DS, or CP) – essential.
CCTV Licence – preferred / highly desirable.
At least 1 year’s security industry experience – required.
Clear & Confident telephone manner with strong customer service skills.
IT literate with the ability to use security software and Microsoft applications.
Calm, professional, and able to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexible to cover additional shifts during holidays or emergencies.
Must hold a driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Working within a busy control room environment, you will be responsible for managing communications, monitoring security systems, and providing critical support to security staff, mobile patrol officers, and clients.
Shifts are worked on a 4 on / 4 off basis:
- Days: 05:30 – 17:30
or
- Nights: 17:30 – 05:30
- Overtime opportunities are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer and monitor all incoming and outgoing phone calls.
Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and calls.
Dispatch and coordinate alarm response requests.
Monitor welfare check calls across client/company sites.
Manage and escalate calls to supervisors or managers when required.
Monitor remote CCTV systems. Detect security breaches and threats and take appropriate action.
Issue, receive, and administer keys securely.
Support field staff with book-on/off procedures, patrol scheduling, and emergency escalation.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
