Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Responsibilities Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel on duty. Actively promote and acknowledge staff contributions. Report all incidents in accordance with customer and company policies and procedures. Assist the Security Management Team in developing and disseminating best practices, leveraging systems and tools to enhance service effectiveness. Ensure that any technological advancements pass operational tests and that users comply fully. Identify and report faults with security equipment promptly and accurately. Maintain proficiency in operational functions such as Access Control, CCTV, Detection, and Alarm Systems, ensuring efficient monitoring and reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related queries, resolving complex issues using your experience and knowledge. Refer complaints regarding security practices to the Security Management Team for resolution. Support the Security Management Team with reasonable requests to maintain site security. Manage all aspects of data input collected from the client's sites effectively. Ensure thorough and effective shift changeovers and handovers. Liaise with external authorities, including Police and Fire Brigade, as necessary. Maintain accurate records of all events in the Assignment Log. Ideally, you’ll have: A valid SIA licence. CCTV Licence essential for the role. 1 years security experience. Experience operating within a control room environment. Confident using a computer.
