JOB SUMMARY

Vigilante Security is a leading provider of professional security services, committed to ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ venues and patrons. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for experienced and dedicated Door Supervisors to join us.
The Role: We are seeking professional and experienced Door Supervisors for various assignments in busy pub and club settings across Sidcup. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and an in-depth understanding of security protocols. You will be the first point of contact for patrons, so a friendly and approachable demeanor is essential, along with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

REQUIREMENTS:

• This is a self-employed role, and a valid Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) is required.
• A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is mandatory.
• A valid First Aid certificate is required.
• Proven experience working as a Door Supervisor, particularly in pub and club environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in difficult situations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• A professional and well-presented appearance.

• Greeting and welcoming customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Checking for valid identification and age verification.
• Managing queues and controlling entry to the venue.
• Preventing unauthorised access and dealing with intoxicated individuals.
• Conducting searches for prohibited items.
• Responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
• Providing excellent customer service and assisting patrons with inquiries.
• Working closely with venue management and staff to ensure a safe environment.
• Completing incident reports as required.
