Receive and dispatch emergency calls by telephone and radio
Receive internal/external telephone calls
Transfer information to the appropriate person in a courteous, professional and timely manner
Ensure appropriate documentation of multi-dispatch calls
Have other opportunities to learn and expand knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates enrolled in or graduate of an Emergency Telecommunications or 911 Communications program or possess equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Individuals that are able to problem solve and prioritize effectively
Candidates that are highly organized and demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills
Previous experience with multi-line phone systems an asset
Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holiday
