We are looking for an engineer experienced in Access Control & CCTV Systems to join our well-established team in Gloucester.
ASGuk are specialists in installing and maintaining a range of security systems such as Access Control, Intercom Entry, IP CCTV, Emergency Call, Automatic Doors, Automatic Barriers & Gates.
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of proven industry experience within the UK security sector.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

For this role you MUST have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the UK security systems industry.
  • A good positive work ethic, a positive attitude and excellent time keeping skills.
  • The ability to adapt to changing environments and products.
  • Physically fit and capable of using steps and other access equipment.
  • Strong initiative, high degree of attention to detail and be responsible for your own work from start to completion.
  • Motivation to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A great communicator in fluent English, written and spoken.
  • A full UK driving licence.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

It would also be ideal if you had the following, although not essential as training would be provided where needed:

  • Previous experience in working with automatic doors, barriers and gates.
  • Knowledge of network systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successful installation, maintenance, repair and fault finding of access control and CCTV systems.
  • Take responsibility and ownership for the overall quality of the work delivered.
  • Communicate effectively with both clients and office admin team to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure systems meet the necessary health and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Competently filling out electronic service management worksheets to a professional standard.
  • Managing projects efficiently from start through to commission and completion.
  • Completing accurate asset management documentation.
