We’re looking for two Security Engineers who are curious, collaborative, and driven to make a meaningful impact. These are 24-month maximum term contract roles. In these roles, you’ll help protect Aussie Broadband and our customers by managing security platforms, responding to threats, and driving continuous improvement. Have hands-on experience with operating systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networks, firewalls, and security tools Understand threats, vulnerabilities, attack methods, and security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, SOCI, ASD Essential 8) Are familiar with threat modelling (STRIDE, PASTA), scripting (PowerShell, Python), and logging best practices Communicate clearly, stay organised, and work well on your own or in a team Bonus points if you bring telco experience, relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP), or a risk-based mindset Are constructive, friendly, and bring a sense of humour to the team Think like a mentor, solve problems quickly, and adapt with ease How will you support our “Why?” At Aussie Broadband, our “why” is to connect Australians to what matters most.
