NTT Data Greece team is looking for a Security Engineer in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector. The Security Engineer will support the monitoring, analysis, and response to security incidents, contributing to the protection of critical systems managed by NTT for institutional clients. This role is ideal for individuals starting their career in cybersecurity and looking to grow in an international and highly regulated environment. Your role: Work with Linux, Public and Private Clouds (Azure, GCP), scripting, Elastic stack, KeyCloak, SOAR, Ansible, Docker, Grafana and others Work primarily with systems and solutions designs in relation to various aspects of information security technologies, processes, and requirements Research, plan and design robust security architectures for various IT infrastructures based on internationally recognized standards and best security practices Innovative service design and development, driven by business strategy and goals Engineering innovative systems which meet goals, requirements, SLA’s, and other quality attributes Design systems for operational efficiency, automation, and ease of operation considering optimal cost and metering of service consumption Assistance of technical experts within operational teams Work closely with Project Managers and project members for delivering security into projects Contribute to security programs for the NTTDATA clients and businesses On Call and On Duty responsibilities We value a collaborative and supportive environment, celebrating curiosity and engagement We are committed to supporting the physical, financial and emotional well-being our of employees Career development. Any IAM tools would do, KeyCloak would be highly appreciated. Docker containers (Kubernetes is a plus) Linux (pro-efficient) Elastic components are a plus: Filebeat, Logstash Azure: EventHub Network & VPN, build and debugging Grafana & Prometheus are a plus Experience with parsers it’s a plus In-depth technical knowledge within information security areas is an advantage: SIEM tools and solutions, Incident Response tools and solutions, Vulnerability Management tools and procedures, SOAR and EDR solutions, Security Threat Intelligence services CISSP, CEH, SANS, or similar certifications represent a big plus Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience dealing effectively with people having different background Fluency in Business English is required, German is an advantage Customer-oriented behavior Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required). *This role may require flexibility, including shift-based work and on-call responsibilities, depending on operational needs.
