OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems that protect our facilities and assets. Your expertise in CCTV, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and telecommunications will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our operations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in computer networking and system design is essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge and electrical experience are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS, telecommunication systems, and construction practices is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess security needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools for installation and repair of security systems.
  • Interpret schematics and system designs to facilitate the installation process.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on the use of security systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry best practices to enhance system effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development of emergency response plans related to security incidents.
