Role: Security Systems Service Engineer
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside, and Manchester (with some travel required)
Hours: Full Time
Pay: Competitive, with performance-based bonus
An excellent opportunity has come up for a Security Systems Service Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure division – a forward-thinking team focused on delivering high-quality service across integrated security systems.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
· Proven experience in servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
· Strong technical skills and a record of effective fault finding
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
· Commercial awareness with a strong customer focus
· Experience working directly with clients on-site
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (including occasional overnight stays)
· Experience with Milestone (preferred)
· IP networking knowledge (advantageous) between 7.30am–6pm, Mon–Fri.

· Service and maintain integrated security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms, in line with industry standards
· Work closely with team members on-site and remotely to ensure seamless service delivery
· Complete internal and client-facing documentation accurately and on time
· Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to respond to fault calls
· Support small works and projects with quoting, surveying, installation, and commissioning
· Adhere to company policies by undergoing vehicle, equipment, and process audits
· Generate and contribute to site-specific RAMS as needed
· Conduct PPE and equipment safety checks in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
· Complete chargeable works orders and address any system defects
