Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a global team of security engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive security engineering strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company’s business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s security architecture to ensure the protection of our platform and user assets.
  • Champion and integrate security best practices into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and development to testing and deployment.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of advanced security tools and technologies, including solutions for threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Audit to ensure security is a foundational component of all our products and services.
  • Drive the automation of security processes and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay at the forefront of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance our security posture.
  • Establish and report on key security metrics to provide visibility into the effectiveness of the security engineering program to senior leadership.
