Allied Universal is hiring a Full-time Security Officer for Black Hills Corp at 7001 Mount Rushmore Road in Rapid City.
You will secure the premises and personnel by conducting frequent patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing regular building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying the identity of visitors. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and security.

Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $19.02 / hour
• Schedule: Morning Shift Available / 8:00 am – 4:00 pm / Monday - Friday.
• Duties: Foot Patrol, CCTV Monitoring, and Access Control.
• Experience: Prior security experience is preferred, but not required. Alternatively, a customer service background is required.
• Skills: Excellent computer skills, the ability to multitask, a good communicator, and a problem solver.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, and work in all weather elements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
