In this role, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the property. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require an armed security-related response. Conduct regular and random patrols, armed as required, throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure operational environment. Remain alert to unusual activity or potential threats, and communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervisors and/or law enforcement when necessary. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
