ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Be professional & Reliable
Police Certificate of Conduct
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security Clearance
First Aid Emergency Level (1 Day)
Must have a valid class five drivers’ license
Fully Vaccinated
CSOC completed with in 30 days of employment
Transport Canada Restricted Area Identification Card would be an asset
Knowledge of airport operations would be an asset

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

The selected candidate will be professional and detail driven individual with a strong work ethic and “can do” attitude. Both physical and mental fitness is required. This often involves working in all types of environment conditions at varying times throughout the day or night.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Commissionaires NL provides Security Services to the Gander International Airport.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Control and enforcement of traffic and other regulations
Liaise with the general public
Control of entry
Issue passes and permits
Conduct patrols both inside and out side of the Terminal Building
Monitoring cameras and alarm systems
Be present for arrival of flights both domestic and International
