REQUIREMENTS

• Current WA Security Industry Licence (Unarmed Guard & Crowd Control endorsed).
• Valid HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) – preferred.
• Construction White Card – required.
• Current valid Driver’s Licence – required Auto/Manual
• Physically fit to undertake extended foot patrols.
• Ability to work across a 24/7 roster with flexibility for day/night shifts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced and professional Security Officers to join our Gatehouse Operations Team in the Perth CBD. This role involves managing access/entry control and ensuring site security across multiple high-profile critical infrastructure client locations.
Successful candidates will be part of a professional team delivering quality managed security services in accordance with ISO best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate visitor management systems to monitor and control entry.
• Contractor management and verification of authorisations.
• Use of Body Worn Camera Systems (BWCS) in compliance with company and client protocols.
• Operate Guardhouse Workforce Management System, including:
• Electronic timesheets (sign in/out).
• Incident and WHS reporting (security & client-specific).
• Live occurrence logs and record management.
• Guard tours, foot patrols, and vehicle patrols across multiple sites.
• Provide onsite emergency response in line with WHS and client requirements.
• Undertake scheduled foot and vehicle patrols.
• Participate in Health & Safety Representative (HSR) training (provided if not yet qualified).
• Maintain situational awareness in relation to critical infrastructure risks and access control vulnerabilities
• Work 12-hour shifts on either a pitman schedule or week on week (rotating dayshift/nightshift).
