As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. Join our team at GardaWorld and be part of an exciting municipal partnership! As a guard on this contract, you’ll have the unique opportunity to grow your career from a Static Guard to a Mobile Guard, Supervisor, and even an Account Director.
Schedule- Monday – Friday 15:00 – 23:00
Location- N3S 7N9
Pay rate- $20/h

QUALIFICATIONS FOR TACTICAL SECURITY GUARD

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification
  • A minimum of 1 years of security experience
  • Ability to stand and walk entire shift
  • Ability to complete all company and site training including Use of Force
  • Strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
  • Strong report writing skills.

Responsibilities
  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
  • Document incidents and actions taken
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
